The Year of the Rabbit displays at Langham Place, Mong Kok |
Using the Year of the Hare and St. Valentine's day to their advantage, Langham Place put up rabbits display in all sorts of shapes, colour or forms. This shopping mall that attract mostly younger shoppers are trying to further boost their foot traffic by having cute, pure, white, clean and adorable rabbits.

Whether these rabbits are cute enough are subject to argument, however, the mall was jam packed with people on a Saturday evening. The locals perhaps have a faddish in taking photographs with almost every kinds of display.

The location of the site itself is controversial. While this shopping complex targets mainly young shoppers (teenagers to 30-something), it is on Portland Street: a famous red-light district in Hong Kong! Having a grand hotel within walking distance to a red-light district has also raised a few eyebrows.

The Langham Place hosts many mini-displays throughout the year, including the Hello Kitty Back to London show that was presented earlier. I am sure that we can talk more about Langham Place in the future.
