A mosaic named "Sweet Delight Mona Lisa" is currently on display at K11 shopping complex at Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon of Hong Kong. The art piece is created by Kiwi artist Maurice Bennet and local art students using 6,000 pieces of Toasts! "Good on ya, mate!"

Known as the ToastMan in New Zealand, Maurice Bennet added a twist when replicating Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece. Mr. Bennet and his team made this 5x5m mosaic even sweeter by adding an image of an ice-cream and marshmallows to the picture.

I supposed the duration of the show depends on the lifetime of the toasts. I wonder how long can these treated and toasted bread lasts?

K11 at Tsim Sha Tsui is known for it's efforts in decorating it's shopping area with contemporary art. The shopping complex made good use of it's walls and pillars to accommodate one to two art piece where possible. The exhibits or artists take their turns to enjoy their moments of fame. The standards of these art work varies, some are really difficult to understand. Luckily, we have Mona Toasted at the front door. :)
