Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre

The Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, Blocks S61 and S62 of the former Whitfield Barracks, is located in the Kowloon Park. The 100 year old building accommodated British Troops until 1967.

Today it is the home to a small exhibition hall, lecture hall and reference library. It is open to the public for free.

The Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre is a Grade I Historic Building in Hong Kong. It is a popular destination for historic architecture and photography enthusiast. On weekends and school holidays, cosplayers would gather to have their photographs taken at this semi-historic and semi-modern building.

You can find the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre at the South-West end of Kowloon Park, opposite to the Colour Garden. The Kowloon West Battery that are related to the former barracks is also in the Kowloon Park.
