Once aboard the cable cars, visitors can admire the scale of this engineering project. However, the cable car service is unavailable on windy days or under extreme weather.
Our first ride on the Ngong Ping Cable Car was on a cool spring morning. It was so foggy and we were unable to see anything through the glass windows for most of the journey. Our second visit to the Ngong Ping Village via Ngong Ping 360 was on a hot summer day. We paid extra to ride on the Crystal Cabin and were rewarded with an amazingly green view on the clear day.
