In an effort to showcase the iconic work of the Hong Kong designers, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum hosts the "Hong Kong: Creative Ecologies - Business, Living, Creativity" exhibition from 5 Feb to 11 May 2010.
As stated in the "Preface", this project is to provide a "premier platform for displaying the energy, style, innovation and branding power of Hong Kong design".
Our first question to the organizers would be, what's the name of your event again? Who can remember such a long name? Are you trying to showcase Hong Kong's power in being long winded?
Our second question to the organizers would be, how come the exhibition area is so dark? Are you really trying to promote or reserve Hong Kong's energy?
The event organizers should consider to learn from the amazing Japanese exhibitors at the Inno Design Tech Expo held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre the next time they showcase the best of Hong Kong. Fortunately, some of the exhibits have "lightened up the party".
