A matrix of Converse @ SoHo

In the 1999 blockbuster "The Matrix", Morpheus shown Neo an array of weapons in the "training environment". This wall of Converse shoes somehow reminded me of this classic scene.

I have never been a fan of this fashion brand. In fact, I found my pair of Converse difficult to walk in. Even so, when I walk passed this Converse store on the Broadway in the SoHo district of New York city, I walked-in with my pair of Nike. I ran into this wall.

Mr. Trump and His Empire

"You are fired!" - one of the most well known Television quote in the past five years, came from the juicy multimillionaire Mr. Donald J. Trump. This man needs no introduction. His past, his looks, his wealth, his talks, his move, one can write a book on each one of these topics.

Donald Trump is certainly one of the figures I enjoy watching and hearing about. The way he talks and do things are so inspiring yet entertaining. Whenever I read his books, I can almost hear his narration as I go through the lines. He isn't the perfect role model but certainly has many cool qualities.

Eagle @ Battery Park NYC

Erected near the bank of the Hudson, a giant eagle sculpture oversees the Statue of Liberty at Liberty Island. This eagle statue is part of the WII memorial park at the Battery Park of New York City.

What's amusing is that the eagle looks so different from different angles. The painting Mona Lisa is famous for smiling at your from different angles; this eagle is on the other side of the scale. The shape, the size, the gesture of this eagle is so different if you look at it from other angles. See it for yourself.

M&M's World near Time Square

Literally a block away from Time Square New York, the sweetest store opens its door for y'all. It's the M&M's World Time Square! Whether you are a fan of M&M's chocolate or not, it's one of the must-go places when you next visit New York.

I am not crazy about these colour coated chocolate, and I certainly did not know such wonderland exist. Instead, the store has managed to find me with it's giant outdoor TV screen, showing images of M&M's cartoon characters. Without perceptions and had no idea what to expect, I stepped into my treat of the day.

Linsanity @ New York Knicks

Lin, a name that has rocked the world of New York basketball fans since February 2012. With the retirement of Yao Min from NBA, Jeremy Lin, a true American with a Chinese/Taiwanese descent has filled the lonely gaps of millions of basketball fans in Asia.

Linsanity everywhere!

Prior to his recent injury, the way Lin played was absolutely stunning. New York Knicks needed a player who was really willing to "play" for a long time. I was fortunate enough to travel to Madison Square Garden to smell, hear, watch and feel Linsanity in March this year.
