One of the unique scenes in Hong Kong is definitely the overwhelming number of neon signs and billboards hanging, dangling, piling on the walls of buildings. Thanks to loose government regulations, all sorts of billboards and neon signs can easily be found in many districts in Hong Kong.

Billboards at Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mong Kok

Mong Kok is probably one of the districts that you can find the most neon signs and billboards. The scene has became a tourist attraction itself. Every night, tourists pay "tourist price" to ride on open-top double-decker bus just to see these colour displays.

Pedder Street in Central

Pedder Street is one of the key streets in Central, Hong Kong. It carries plenty of history and unique Hong Kong flavour. In a small pedestrian lane branched off from Pedder Street, you can find stores that offer just that.

Pedder Street, Central Hong Kong

Originally small businesses and hawkers in the area, these shops began their operations before the nearby buildings were erected. When the government decided develop Central, these shops were relocated to the current pedestrian lane. Despite of the wooden match-box like constructions, they are now licensed shops that offers fascinated products and services.

Apple Store Causeway Bay

Apple Store, a name familiar to Apple and non-Apple fans! Whether you are after an iPhone or iWhat product, you will naturally run into an Apple Store when you visit a world class city like Hong Kong

Apple Store @ Causeway Bay Hong Kong

The Apple Store in Hysan Place of Causeway Bay in Hong Kong is the third Apple Store in Hong Kong. The store is extremely spacious and considering the sky high rent in Causeway Bay, Apple is really willing to spend money to build and maintain its image. Click here for the other Apple Stores that I have visited in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

What to do in Tsim Sha Tsui @ Hong Kong

What to do in Hong Kong? Here are some ideas!

Things to do in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST)

(1) Visit must-see Attractions

Tsim Sha Tsui is home to several must-see attractions in Hong Kong. At Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, you can find Star Ferry Pier. Simply turn around and you can find the historic Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. The unusual shape building behind the clock tower is the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, a venue for performing arts in Hong Kong. The waterfront area south of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre is a prime location to enjoy the outdoor light and sound show A Symphony of Lights every night at 8:00pm. General browsing and take photographs at these places are absolutely free.
