In our opinion, there are two parallel streets that all visitors must check out when they are in Hong Kong: Nathan Road and Sai Yeung Choi Street. Both streets are full of neon signs and billboards. Nathan Road is a busy main road in Hong Kong. Sai Yeung Choi Street turns into pedestrian walking area in the evening. Furthermore, having a 5-star hotel adjacent to a red light district has raised a few eyebrows. Staying at Langham Place Hotel can definitely offer plenty of excitement and entertainment, but whether it can offer a piece of quietness and a place to relax is subject to discussion.
A final word, Langham Place Hotel in Mong Kok is sometimes mistaken as The Langham Hong Kong at Tsim Sha Tsui owned by the same group. As a smart tourist, it would be wise to double check your booking prior to arrival.
