Features
The Mira Hong Kong is in a busy area
named Tsim Sha Tsui on the Kowloon peninsula. Once you enter the
front door of Mira, you would be taken away by its stylish designs.
Coupled with tinted glasses, the waves on the walls and ceiling at
the lobby gave excellent first impressions. This theme is extended to
the rest of the hotel.

Apart from its designs, the best that The Mira
Hong Kong can offer is its prime location. Location, location,
location! It is at a very good location. However, what Mira cannot
offer is sea view as it is blocked by its next door neighbour THE One
shopping mall. The Mira also offers little urban view as it is
limited by its height.
Location
Located at the fringe of Tsim Sha Tsui
shopping area, The Mira Hong Kong offers shopping and outdoor leisure
experiences at once. It is on Nathan Road, make this hotel extremely
convenient. The hotel is surrounded by thousands of shops and
restaurants. You can get to most tourist attractions from the hotel
by feet, buses or MTR (Hong Kong’s underground subway). The Mira
Hong Kong is at one of the busiest area and golden mile of Kowloon.

Attractions
Opposite to The Mira Hong Kong is the
Kowloon Park, a leisure and historical site for the general public. A
bit similar to New York’s Central Park on the Manhattan Island,
Kowloon Park is a rectangular strip of urban lung on the Kowloon
peninsula. The Miramar shopping mall and THE One shopping malls are just
next door to the hotel. If you are interested in Hong Kong's monuments, there is one building just two doors away from the hotel (North of Miramar shopping center).
The Mira Hong Kong is about 20 to 25
minutes walking distance from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, where you
can enjoy the stunning view of the Victoria Harbour. The walk from
the hotel to waterfront is very entertaining as you would walk pass
Kowloon Mosque, K11 art mall, iSquare shopping mall, Chungking
Mansions, and plenty of hotels including Holiday Inn, Sheraton and
The Peninsula before you reach the waterfront. Once you are at the
waterfront, there are even plenty more to see.
Heading North from the Mira hotel would
take you to Jordan, where Temple Street and the Jade Market are
based. Heading East would take you to Tsim Sha Tsui East. There are
plenty to see in all four directions from The Mira Hong Kong.
Gossips
The Mira Hong Kong has been a
well-known but certainly not famous name in Hong Kong. In 2013, one
man by the name of Edward Snowden has literally put this hotel on the
map. The Mira Hong Kong was the hotel that Mr. Snowden stayed in when
he did THE interview. Although the event caught worldwide media
attention, it goes without saying that the opinions and actions of
Mr. Snowden had little to do with the hotel.
