Earth From Above by Yann Arthus-Bertrand

The famous aerial portrait of our plant exhibition "Earth From Above" is on from 29 Dec 2010 to 29 Dec 2011 in Hong Kong, China. Photographs captured by Yann Arthus-Bertrand are presented on the roof-top of the China Hong Kong Harbour Ferry terminal (at the China Hong Kong City, Canton Road of Tsim Sha Tsui).

The purpose of the exhibition is to promote green living towards sustainable development. The general public can admire amazing photos taken at the various corners of the world, and learn about the damages that human beings are doing to our planet.

There are a hundred photographs on display. Each photo was presented with a detailed description in both English and Chinese (the local language), as well as the Latitude and Longitude of where the photos were taken. All the photos were taken by Mr. Arthus-Bertrand from helicopters using professional cameras.

The colour, mood, and subject of each photo are very different from one another. Mr. Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a true master in photography and I respect the cause of his exhibition.
